Fighting on campus, possession of tobacco and/or drug paraphernalia are examples of infractions that will result in an automatic suspension. Out of School Suspension for eleven or more days is considered long term. According to states laws and zero tolerance, anyone who has drugs in his or her possession will be arrested and suspended for 180 days. Anyone who has a firearm in his or her possession, vehicle, locker, at school or school sponsored activity, will be arrested and suspended for 180 days. For additional information on long term suspension, read page nineteen, of the Student Agenda Book.
