Saturday School Rules
All students assigned to Saturday School will read and be familiar with the following rules and instructions with the understanding that violating a rule will subject the student to Out- Of- School Suspension.
1. Meet in the Lobby by the Main Office by 8:00 A.M.
2. Have books, paper, and pen/pencil with you. You will not be allowed to
leave the
room to get these items.
3. You must spend the entire morning in study. If you finish the work before
the end of
the day and are not busy studying, the teacher will give you additional
work.
4. You must not talk or work with any other students. You must remain
quiet the entire
morning. You will not sleep or engage in any activity other than studying.
You may
not read books or magazines which have not been assigned by a teacher.
5. You will be given one break during the morning to use the restroom.
6. If you have a question for the teacher, raise your hand. Do not
speak until the teacher
recognizes you. You are to remain seated unless given permission
to be out of
your seat.
7. During Saturday School you will be expected to spend thirty
minutes to an hour
engaged in a community service activity on campus. Failure to participate
in an
acceptable manner may result in expulsion from Saturday School.
8. Any misconduct during Saturday School will result in immediate
dismissal. On the
following school day, the appropriate administrator will issue
an Out Of School
Suspension.
9. All regular school rules apply to Saturday School, especially
our Dress Code.
10. Failure to attend Saturday School will result in OSS.
