Jeff Munier - entering his fourth season at Collierville
High School as the pitching coach. Munier has seven years of head coaching
experience
and five as
an assistant. As head coach at Olive Branch High School, he led the Conquistadors
to the state tournament all four seasons he was there including, two
Division Championships in 2003 & 2004 and the North State Runner-up
title in 2004. He was selected to coach the 2005 North Mississippi All-Star
Team in his final season at OBHS.
Coach Munier holds a Masters in Education from Delta State University and a
B.S. in Education from MacMurray College. At Mac, Munier played both baseball
and basketball and was named SLIAC All-Conference afollowing his senior season
with an 11-4 record on the mound. Munier threw the school’s third ever
no-hitter on April 14, 1992.
Munier's coaching career began at Delta State University in 1994 where he was
a graduate assistant. His first head coaching job was at Tunica Institute
where he was named Division "Coach of the Year" in 1996 & 1997.
Munier led the Blue Devils to the state tournament three times, including
two North State Runner-up titles and two Division Championships in three
seasons. He was also selected to coach the North All-Star Team in 1997.
Coach Munier was an assistant coach at Christian Brothers University in 1999
and at Germantown High School in 2000 & 2001 helping lead the Red Devils
to a state championship in 2001.
