Rules

 

1. Be prompt (in assigned seat when tardy bell rings).

2. Be prepared (bring textbook, paper, and writing utensil).

3. Be polite.

4. No eating, drinking or chewing gum in class.

5. No sleeping.

 

Consequences

1st offense is a verbal warning.

2nd offense is a student/teacher conference.

3rd offense is a phone call home.

4th offense is a referral to the counselor.

5th offense is a parent conference with the counselor present.

Severe clause: cursing, fighting,or insubordination will result in an immediate office referral.

 

Procedures

* Upon entering class complete the journal .

* Chapter tests (100 points each).

* Class participation.

* Homework is due every Wednesday and Friday for Psychology and every Friday for Sociology (10 points each) .

* Notebook (100 points) 4 sections: journal entries , notes, homework, and class work.

* Pop Quizes (15-20 points) for AP Psychology only

 

Final grade is figured by dividing points earned by total points possible.

 

Make up work: Students have two days to make up missing assignments. It is the student's responsibility to make up missing assignments.

Late work will be penalized one letter grade for every day it is late.
