Shuler's Science Class
 
Classroom Procedures:
 
Binders are required and must be updated at all times. When students enter the room each day, they update their binders in three places:
 

 
 
1. They copy assignments from the daily assignment board which tells what we did in class and what they have for homework.
2. They update the Table of Contents by checking the example in the room.
3. They add any new grades to the grade sheet and calculate the new average.
 
NOTE TO PARENTS: The best way for you to help your child improve his or her performance in this class, is to check this binder regularly to see if the work is being completed and to determine where problems may exist. You can use it to know what we are studying and what is expected, in order to learn the information and earn the grade.
 
 
OTHER CLASSROOM INFORMATION:
-No late grades are accepted for any reason.
-Make up work must be completed on time. One day per absence is allowed for work that was assigned when the student was absent.
-All science work and supplies must be kept in the science binder at all times.
-Mini-projects will be due as announced in class.
-Science Fair is not required, but is available for interested students.
