Overview:
This course is directed toward young men and women who are interested in
designing living spaces for them and/or as a career. Students will gain proficiency
in
the use of design elements and principles and will gain knowledge regarding
furniture design, architectural styles, construction of homes, and interior
design. Personal
decision-making is practiced as students select a housing plan, design it,
and decorate their “Dream House” project. Careers in this field
are surveyed.
