News Show Schedules

In AP U.S. Government, you will be required to watch at least one political news show a week. You will need a spiral notebook as you will be required to write a review of each show you watch. The spiral will be taken up at the end of the six weeks for a grade (usually worth 60 points). I will give you a format to follow. Below is a list of political shows that you can choose from. You should choose a variety of shows during the six weeks- at the end of the six weeks you should have watched six different programs. You are to analyze and critique the show , not just give a play by play of who was on the show and who said what. Apply what you know about government and politics when writing your journals. Give me your thoughts and views. These news shows will broaden your knowledge about contemporary politics and are a valuable pool of information for future essays. This is not a complete list; if you find a show that isn't listed but you would like to watch check with me first.
