Mrs. Gaddy teaches Honors Biology I (SC248). In these classes, students are introduced to the study of living organisms and their processes.
Through classroom lectures and hands-on laboratory experiments, students learn beginning biology concepts. Topics include cytology, ecology, genetics, microbiology, botany, and zoology.
In the spring, students are required to take the Gateway science exam, a required state profiency test. Students must score at least a proficient level to fulfill the high school graduation requirement.
