To the parents of Cosmetology Students:

For your information, I am submitting to you a copy of the criteria for all Cosmetology classes and Vocational Student Organizations (VSO-fees,activities,dates,times will be available).

Every student must purchase a Cosmetology Kit. For Cosmetology I the cost is $145.00 with a deposit of $100.00. The Cosmetology II cost is $80.00 with a deposit of $50.00. The Cosmetology III cost is $80.00 with a deposit of $60.00. This must be paid no later than August-30 of the school year. Failure to pay this will result in the student being dropped from the class. All balances must be paid no later than announced due date.

Attendance/Grades of a Student. Attendance is a must because this counts a part of their grade. These hours will be sent to the State Board in Nashville, TN. Also, if a student falls below a 75 average for a nine weeks, the hours will not be sent in to the Board of Cosmetology.

Mandatory Professionalism: Students will conduct themselves as they would in professional salon. This includes how they treat: one another, clients, and instructional staff. Professionalism is required of this program and failure to maintain a proper professionalism will result in a student, parent/guardian, administration, guidance counselor, and teacher conference. If professionalism is not adhered to by any student, then student is subject to possible termination from this technical path.
