Hi & Welcome! We are glad you are here to view our artwork. With balancing busy schedules of art teachers, wives, mothers, and artists, we have teamed up to encourage each other and help promote our artwork. In 2003 “two toads” was developed as our artistic outlet. “Two Toads” annually participate in the Double Decker Festival in Oxford, Ms. We began with a love for printmaking. Our technique and designs are all original. After making a black, oil based print from our linoleum design, we hand water color each so no two end up exactly the same. It is a very fun process for us. After attending an art education conference here in Memphis, we found a new love for chalk pastels. We like to use bright, bold colors with some limited palates to create dramatic landscapes. We also apply this same style to our Acrylic landscape paintings. They are very energetic and fun. |
